Welcome to Tasksvy! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tasksvy browser extension ("Extension") available for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the Extension.
This is a FREE tool provided "AS IS". By using Tasksvy, you accept ALL risks and responsibilities. ACCOMVY assumes NO liability whatsoever for any damages, losses, or issues arising from use of this extension.
2. Description of Service
Tasksvy is a productivity browser extension that provides:
- Local task management and organization
- Priority-based task categorization
- Smart reminders and notifications
- Data export functionality (CSV format)
- Customizable themes and interface
- Browser-based dashboard access
The Extension operates entirely within your browser using local storage mechanisms provided by Chrome and Firefox.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, ACCOMVY grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use the Extension on supported browsers
- Use the Extension for personal or internal business purposes
- Export your data for backup or analysis purposes
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws
- Maintain the security of your device and browser
- Regularly export and backup your data
- Not use the Extension to store illegal or harmful content

5. Data Privacy and Storage
5.1 Local Storage
All data created, stored, or managed through Tasksvy remains exclusively on your device. The Extension uses browser-provided local storage APIs to store your information.
5.2 No Data Collection
We do not collect personal information, track your browsing activity, monitor your task content, transmit your data to external servers, or use cookies or tracking technologies.
6. No Liability Clause
ACCOMVY SHALL HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CLAIMS OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS EXTENSION.
6.1 Complete Liability Exclusion
ACCOMVY EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR:
- Data loss, corruption, or deletion of any kind
- Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Personal injury, property damage, or any other harm
- Security breaches, hacking, or unauthorized access to your device
- Extension malfunctions, bugs, errors, or failures
- Compatibility issues with browsers, devices, or other software
- Any actions or omissions resulting from Extension use
6.2 Monetary Liability Cap
IN NO EVENT SHALL ACCOMVY'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS ($0.00). THIS IS A FREE PRODUCT PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
6.3 Data Loss Specific Disclaimer
ACCOMVY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DATA LOSS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING:
- Browser updates, crashes, or data clearing
- Extension updates, removal, or reinstallation
- Device failure, loss, theft, or damage
- Operating system changes, updates, or failures
- User error, accidental deletion, or misuse
- Third-party software conflicts or interference
- Malware, viruses, or security incidents
- Natural disasters, power outages, or other force majeure events
6.4 User's Sole Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You use this Extension at your own risk
- You are solely responsible for backing up your data
- ACCOMVY provides no guarantees of data safety or integrity
- You assume all costs associated with data recovery if needed
- You will not hold ACCOMVY responsible for any outcomes
7. No Warranty
THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ACCOMVY EXPLICITLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Implied warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- That defects will be corrected
ACCOMVY MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, OR ACCURACY OF THE EXTENSION FOR ANY PURPOSE. YOUR USE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ACCOMVY, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Extension
- Your violation of any term of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
- Any claim that your use caused damage to a third party
9. Termination
These Terms are effective until terminated by you or ACCOMVY. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Extension and deleting all copies.
ACCOMVY may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Requests by law enforcement or government agencies
- Technical or security issues
- Extended periods of inactivity
- At ACCOMVY's sole discretion
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10.2 Arbitration
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. YOU AGIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
10.3 No Class Actions
You may only resolve disputes with ACCOMVY on an individual basis and may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Privacy Policy

At Tasksvy, we believe in privacy by design. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our browser extension. The most important thing to know is that we do not collect any of your personal data.
Tasksvy is built with privacy as a core principle. All your data stays on your device, and we never have access to it.
While we designed Tasksvy for privacy, ACCOMVY assumes NO responsibility for data loss, corruption, or security issues. You are solely responsible for protecting your data.

We want to be completely transparent about what we do NOT collect:

3. Local Storage & Your Data
3.1 Where Your Data is Stored
All your Tasksvy data is stored locally on your device using:
- Chrome: chrome.storage.local API
- Firefox: browser.storage.local API
3.2 Data Encryption
Your data is stored in plain text within your browser's secure sandbox environment. We recommend:
- Keeping your browser updated
- Using device encryption if available
- Setting up password protection on your device
3.3 Data Backup
You can export your data at any time using the CSV export feature. This creates a backup file that you can save to your preferred storage location.
ACCOMVY ASSUMES ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DATA LOSS. If you clear your browser data, uninstall the extension, experience device failure, or encounter any other issue, your Tasksvy data may be permanently lost. You are solely responsible for regular backups.
4. Browser Permissions
The extension requires certain permissions to function. Here's what each permission is used for:
4.1 Storage Permission
Purpose: To save your tasks locally on your device
What it allows: Read/write access to browser's local storage
What it does NOT allow: Access to your files, downloads, or other browser data
4.2 Alarms Permission
Purpose: To create reminders and notifications
What it allows: Setting up scheduled notifications
What it does NOT allow: Access to system notifications or other app alerts
4.3 ActiveTab/Tabs Permission
Purpose: To display the dashboard in new tabs
What it allows: Detection of new tab creation
What it does NOT allow: Reading tab contents, browsing history, or URL tracking
5. Third-Party Services
Tasksvy uses minimal third-party services:
5.1 Distribution Platforms
- Google Chrome Web Store: Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
- Mozilla Firefox Add-ons Store: Subject to Mozilla's Privacy Policy
5.2 Development Resources
- Font Awesome: For icons (loaded from CDN)
- Google Fonts: For typography (loaded from CDN)
These services may collect anonymous usage statistics as per their own privacy policies.
6. Children's Privacy
Tasksvy does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we don't collect any personal information, this is inherently protected by our design.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Tasksvy ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies. The most important thing to know is that the Tasksvy browser extension does not use cookies.
The Tasksvy browser extension operates without using any cookies, localStorage (except for your task data), or tracking technologies.
2. Extension Cookies
The Tasksvy browser extension does NOT use:

We do not set or read any HTTP cookies through the extension. The extension does not have the ability to set cookies on websites you visit.
